Profession dealing with editors, proofreaders, publishers, editing copy writers, and so on is the editorial industry.
Now, editorial department is time dependent. The main time duration is from mid-June to labor days and from December to January. In other months of a year there’s about recession going on in this field. So for fresher’s its obvious not to apply during seasonal but on that time prepare yourselves for applied on the next time.
There are certain points to be noticed to get focused in this field. These are as follows; firstly know your ability,”how able you are to hit”. For example, the experience of working in any industry for years.
Secondly is the time. This means time required to recruit the employee. That is to minimize the time it is said that to directly contact editorial department.
The third point is rate i.e., the price for any project is fixed by the head of the editorial department. But sometimes special rates are made for any special project or for any departmental project.
The fourth point is the way of contact. Internet is the best method to contact any body because it required less time to do the same. It is said that the credentials should be send via e-mails along with the editorial copy and automatically a receipt copy will be stored in the sender’s side.
The last but not the least point is the professional presentation of the material. This means the grammar, body, the concluding part; the visual effects, etc should be perfect and professional.
